Professional Air Conditioning Service in Las Vegas

Air Conditioning

Infinity Heating and Cooling has serviced air conditioning systems across the Las Vegas Valley since 2012. Our technicians are NATE-certified and average 15 years in the trade. The company is a factory-authorized Trane Comfort Specialist.

Summer here puts cooling equipment under load for months. Annual service keeps that equipment working through it. We inspect the system, measure what is out of spec, and give you the findings before any work starts.

Why Cooling Systems in Las Vegas Need Annual Service

Air conditioners in Las Vegas run far more hours per year than systems in milder climates. Long run times and airborne dust affect coils, capacitors, contactors, and electrical connections.

Annual service catches wear before it becomes a failure. A weak capacitor or a refrigerant charge that has drifted low will reduce cooling output well before the system quits. Both are inexpensive to correct when found early.

Systems running undercharged or with restricted airflow also draw more power for the same cooling output. That cost shows up on the summer electric bill.

What a Service Visit Covers

Our seasonal tune-up is a 21-point inspection covering the components that determine cooling output and efficiency.

During a typical service appointment, technicians evaluate:

  • Condenser and evaporator coils, cleaned as needed
  • Refrigerant charge measured against manufacturer specification
  • Capacitors, contactors, and electrical connections
  • Blower motor and airflow across the coil
  • Filter condition
  • Thermostat calibration and system response
  • Condensate drain and pan

Our technicians are EPA-certified for refrigerant handling. The company is fully licensed and insured.

Cooling Systems Our Technicians Maintain

Modern homes and commercial buildings use several types of cooling systems. Our technicians provide AC service in Las Vegas for many types of equipment commonly used throughout the region.

Systems we maintain include:

  • Central air conditioning systems
  • Ductless mini-split systems
  • Heat pump cooling systems
  • Zoned cooling systems

Each equipment type has different service points. We match the procedure to the system in front of us.

Ductless Mini-Split Service and Maintenance

Mini-splits need attention that central systems do not. Indoor filters and blower wheels collect dust and lose airflow over time. Outdoor units face the same coil and charge issues as central equipment.

We clean the indoor components and verify each head responds correctly to its controller. Refrigerant performance is checked per zone. For new zones or system replacement, see our ductless mini-split installation and repair service.

Experienced Technicians Focused on Reliable Service

Maintenance will not fix a system that has already failed. A unit blowing warm air or tripping its breaker needs diagnosis. Our AC repair in Las Vegas covers common faults and how our technicians work through them.

Older systems with a failing compressor often cost more to keep running than to replace. Replacement cost against remaining equipment life is a calculation we will run with you. Our AC installation includes equipment options and sizing.

How we work

Prices are quoted before a technician touches the equipment. You approve the number first.

Frequently Asked Questions About Air Conditioning Service

How often should an air conditioner be serviced in Las Vegas?

Once a year at minimum, before summer. Cooling equipment here runs long hours from May through September. An annual inspection catches airflow, refrigerant, and electrical issues before peak load arrives.

Systems older than ten years and light commercial rooftop units often warrant twice-yearly service.

What does a typical AC service appointment include?

A professional cooling system inspection usually includes checking system components that affect efficiency and performance. Technicians inspect electrical connections, evaluate refrigerant levels, clean coils, test thermostat operation, and review airflow through the system. These steps help make sure the equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Why is preventive air conditioning service important?

Small faults develop slowly. A capacitor losing capacity or a coil restricting airflow will degrade cooling output for weeks before the system fails outright. Annual inspection catches those while they are still cheap to fix.

Preventive service also reduces the chance of a mid-summer breakdown, when demand across the valley is at its highest.

Can regular maintenance help lower energy bills?

Yes. A system with a correct refrigerant charge and clean coils moves the same heat using less electricity. Restricted airflow and low charge both force longer run times for the same result.

The savings depend on how far out of spec the system has drifted since its last service.

What should I do if my air conditioner stops working?

Check the thermostat settings and confirm the breaker has not tripped. Replace the filter if it is visibly loaded.

If the system still does not cool, it needs a technician. We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day at (702) 291-2000.

Do all cooling systems require the same type of service?

No. Central air systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits have different components and different failure points. A mini-split needs indoor blower wheel and filter work that a central system does not.

Our technician identifies the equipment type and performs the correct procedure for it.
